George J.  Kerecman
George J. Kerecman, age 66, of Greene Township, passed away after a short illness, on Thursday, April 27, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Erie, on October 29, 1950, the son of the late George A. and Pauline E. Bokshan Kerecman.
George graduated from Wattsburg High School in 1968. He was the proud owner and operator of Northwest Restoration, Inc. which he built for the last 35 years with his best friend Larry Anderson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. He loved driving his El Camino. George was known as a hard worker and a giving person.
Survivors include his four children, Kristy Golixer and her husband Denny, of Edinburg, PA, Bonnie Kerecman, Greg Kerecman and his fiancée, Joellen, and Dallas Kerecman, all of Erie; his two brothers, John and Fred Kerecman Sr.; two grandchildren, Max Kerecman and Reagan Golixer; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service there the next morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
