Charles C.  Caldwell Jr.
Charles C. Caldwell, Jr., 82, of Summit Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Golden Living Center Walnut Creek. He was born in Cambridge Springs on April 18, 1934 a son of the late Charles C. Caldwell, Sr. and Golda Fuller Lafferty.

Charles graduated from Erie Tech and worked as a service manager with Truckman Service Corporation. He enjoyed woodworking and animals.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Peters and Darlene Stafford.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Sexauer Caldwell; two sons, Timothy Caldwell (Laura) of Waterford and Charles Caldwell (Kelly) of Pittsburgh; one daughter, Bonnie Gallagher (David) of Elizabethtown, PA; seven grandchildren, Karen Walker (Anthony), Casie Niederberger (Scott), Courtney Duthie (Warren), Bryan McCrea (Brandy), Charles Caldwell (Ashley), Amanda Swanson (Brandon), and Timothy Caldwell (Teryne); 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon Caldwell (Helen) of Maine and Dana Caldwell (Cheri) of Farrell, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.

Memorial contributions can be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St., Suite 244, Erie, 16501.
