Obituary for Janet Baumgardner (Petroff)
Janet Petroff Baumgardner, 68, of Meadville, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 18, 2017 at Marquette Hospice House of Crawford County. She was born in Erie on May 23, 1948 a daughter of the late James L. and Marion Brozell Petroff.
Janet was a 1966 graduate of Lawrence Park High School and worked at the Hammermill Paper Company for 25 years. She was the former treasurer of the Erie Silent Club and the Hearing Impaired Preschoolers at the Barber Center. She was a member of the Hilltoppers in Meadville and enjoyed reading, movies, and word puzzles.
Survivors include her husband, Philip Baumgardner; two daughters, Jennifer King and her husband, Wade, of Lawrence Park and Lisa Maciolek of Girard; one son, Thomas Maciolek of Erie; three grandchildren, Justin, Trenton, and Kendall; one sister, Jean Almeda and her husband, Robert, of Williamsburg, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
