Obituary for Sharon Arnold (Dodson)
Sharon Dodson Arnold, 69, of Summit Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday January 16, 2017 at Western Reserve. She was born in Erie on July 10, 1947 a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mabel Dotts Dodson.
Sharon graduated from Academy High School and went on to work as a manager at Action Hardware. She was co-owner of Arnold's Drive-In in North East with her husband and most recently worked at Lowes for 20 years before retiring in 2009. She loved going to garage sales.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, James Arnold; one son, Steven Arnold of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Catherine "Mary Jane" Baldwin of Bradford, PA and Dolores Beck and her husband Dick of Whitney Point, NY; her dog, Gabby; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews, including Stacie.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services there at 7:00 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Northwest PA, 2707 Interchange Rd., Erie, 16508.
