Obituary for Peter A. Wokulich

Peter A. "Pistol Pete" Wokulich, 56, of Summit Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday December 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Erie on October 31, 1960 a son of the late Alexander Wokulich and Dorothy Vancise Wokulich Berry.

Peter attended Ft. Leboeuf High School and worked with heavy machinery for many years. He enjoyed hunting, guns, and especially racing cars.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Russell D. Berry; two nephews, Paul Lacny and Chris Wokulich; one niece, Helen Wokulich; and his great niece, Addison Zielinski.

Survivors include three daughters, Mandy Wokulich of Summit, Alyssa Wokulich of Texas, and Alayna Wokulich of Kansas; one son, Alex Wokulich of Ft. Benning, GA; four sisters, Kathy McClelland (Christopher) of Waterford, Marina Berry of Erie, Melinda Bayus (Robert) of Waterford, and Rebecca Fuller of Summit; five brothers, Robert Wokulich of Erie, Michael Wokulich of Summit, Paul Berry of Erie, Raymond Berry (Mona) of Erie, and Dean Berry of Erie; three grandchildren, Starlily, Acen, and Levi; his former spouses, Lyndia Starvaggi of Erie and Shari Wokulich of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services there at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Waterford Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Regional Hospice for their loving care given to Peter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
