Geraldine R. Hannah Vickey, 73, a resident of Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA and formerly of Erie, passed away on Tuesday September 27, 2016 following a brief battle with Dementia and Alzheimer's with family by her side. She was born in Erie on March 15, 1943 a daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Bailey Hannah.

Geraldine attended Academy High School and went on to work for Munot Plastics for 10 years before working as a nurse's aide at St. Mary's Home for 10 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Star Athletic Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, watching Law and Order S.V.U. and the Lifetime Channel.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Vickey; one brother, Richard Carl Hannah; and two sisters, Anna Mae Meyerink and Peggy Jane Ross.

Survivors include two daughters, Annmarie Stancliff and Rebecca Vickey-Powers and her husband Ronald, all of Erie; two sons, Joseph E. Vickey and his wife Brenda of Girard and Matthew S. Vickey and his wife Amanda of Erie; three sisters, Laura Flasher of Youngsville, PA, Donna Hannah of Youngsville, PA, and Rose Nuhfer and her husband Ken of Clarendon, PA; two brothers, Jack Hannah and his wife Pat and Alex Hannah and his wife Marilyn, all of North East; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Monday at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.
