Lillian Stiles Zimmerman, 92, formerly of Johnstown, passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Golden Living Walnut Creek in Erie.

She was a member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church and was a member of the Foster Grandparents Program of Cambria County.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, William O. Smith; and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one son, Donald W. Zimmerman and his wife Bettina of Warwick, RI; one daughter, E. Thelma Smith and her husband Harry of Erie; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Coney Island Restaurant and employees, which has the best coffee around, and the Johnstown Senior Center for their friendship.

Funeral arrangements and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
