Jackie Edward Parrett
Jackie Edward Parrett age 61 of Erie, passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at UPMC – Hamot Hospital. He was born in Erie on December 24, 1954 a son of the late Albert and Virginia Edington Parrett. Jackie graduated from Academy High School in 1972 and was a local mechanic, previously working for Mothers Junkyard. He enjoyed model cars.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Parrett Sr. and one niece, Shannon Parrett.
He is survived by two daughters, Allison Parrett of Corry and Elizabeth Parrett of Edinboro; one granddaughter, Danika Pilling; three brothers, Robert (Sharon) Parrett of Oakdale, Connecticut, Ronald (Anna) Parrett of Carmichael, CA and Rodney (Lani) Parrett of Erie; three sisters, Mary “Sis” Parrett of Erie, Michelle “Mikki” Parrett of Erie and Marilyn Parrett of Corry; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
At the request of the family no formal services will be held and arrangements are under the care of the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
