Nancy A. Isacks, 60, of Erie, passed away Tuesday April 5, 2011 at her residence following a nearly 6 year battle with cancer.

She was a Golden Apple Award winning teacher having taught at St. George School and Millcreek Township School District, where she was a social studies chair for elementary schools, for the past 39 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Albert J. Isacks; two brothers, James Crain and his wife Barbara and Herbert Crain; three sisters, Rita Lewis and her husband Paul, Margaret Dugan and her husband Ed, and Norma Follstadt and her husband Eugene; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
